Meet Jase! He is the oldest member of our pack, but he is the most easy going couch potato you will ever meet! He is a very special dog. Jase graduated from Service Dog school at Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) in 2015. Jase is now retired from Service dog work, and he gets to spend his days enjoying life and getting cuddles all day long.

Delfina is our youngest son’s current service dog. She is also a graduate from Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). You may recognize this amazing girl from Spotsylvania High School! She has been featured in their yearbook, and even crossed the stage at graduation! She is just about ready to retire from service dog work, but we assure you, she is always ready to put her vest on. She absolutely loves feeling useful and even helps us carry in the groceries!

This is Holly! She is a beautiful rescue we took in approximately 4 years ago in California from a neighbor’s desperate plea for help. Holly is not the biggest fan of people, and you will see her silently judging every move you make. She prefers animals to people, and that’s ok with us. As long as she is comfortable, we allow her to be who she is. You can find her snuggled up to her best friend Jase or sleeping on the window sill. She is a very sweet young lady, when she feels like gracing you with her presence.

This is Kyro! She is the feline who rules over all of the dogs. She is not afraid to teach the dogs their position within the pack. She is a phenomenal asset to our home and an absolute love bug! She walks with a swagger around the dogs and she has the perfect amount of confidence to lay on the floor cuddled up with the dogs. This perfect girl is a rescue from Squishy Face Crew Rescue (SFC) in Fredericksburg, VA.

This is our newest rescue as of 2025. Meet Sophia! She came from a hoarding situation in Florida. We were lucky enough to be chosen to adopt her and her sister, Freyja (below). Both Maine Coon kitties were taken in by GoFar Rescue in Fort Meyers, Florida. As soon as we saw these two beautiful ladies, we knew they had to come live with us. It has taken a lot of time and patience for them to come out of their shells, but we are ok with that, and we will move at their pace.

Freyja’s story is the same as her feline sister, Sophia. Freyja came from the same hoarding house in Fort Meyers, Florida. Freyja and Sophia were raised in a house full of cats. They walked amongst deceased cats, and horrendous smells. Thankfully, GoFar Rescue took in many cats, and were able to rehabilitate them. Freyja and Sophia are still recovering from their rough starts in life, but we are happy to assist them on their path.
