Tyge is a Dutch Shepherd and was born in Indiana. At 7 months old, he was shipped out to Melissa in California. While there, he blossomed under the training of Melissa and Jack Fields from K9 Development in Tracy, CA. Tyge began his training as a personal medical service dog for Melissa. During training, Jack and Melissa realized Tyge’s natural ability of scent work. That’s when Melissa decided her work for the community could continue beyond law enforcement. Now, not only does Tyge assist Melissa with her daily activities, Tyge is also able to help the community, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tyge is registered with the AKC and UKC. In his free time, Tyge enjoys running, playing Chuck-It, and swinging from trees on a fire hose. Tyge is always ready to train and please. He loves to rough house with his sister, Atka. These two provide continuous hours of entertainment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atka<\/mark><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Atka was born a country girl in Texas. Her parents are protection dogs and compete in Schutzhund trials. Atka may look tough, but she is the biggest baby and will melt in your arms. At 10 weeks old, the country girl was shipped out to Melissa in California. Atka went from running on a large ranch with horses, to the suburban life of California. Under Melissa’s guidance, this pup has blossomed into an amazing ambassador to her Rottweiler breed. Atka is always ready for an assignment, whether it be training or a treat. She is a lovely, well mannered, and a gorgeous Rottie. Oh, and yes, she still has her tail!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atka is registered with the AKC. In Atka’s free time, she loves snuggling on the couch or at the feet of her people because sometimes she gets too warm on the couch. Atka is Tyge’s biggest fan. The two of them like to play, “Stalk” everyday. Stalk is when one of them hides, and then slowly stalks\/walks up to the other, and then they pounce on one another. It creates hours of entertainment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
